Why am I seeing disconnected products in my Lookbook?

Why am I seeing disconnected products in my Lookbook?

If a product is marked as “Disconnected,” it means ShopMy can no longer match that item to the product data coming from your Shopify store.

Why does this happen?

ShopMy uses the Shopify Variant ID as the source of truth for Lookbook products. A Variant ID is the unique identifier Shopify assigns to a specific product option, such as a size or color.

If the Variant ID connected to a Lookbook product no longer appears in your Shopify product feed, the product will show as disconnected.

This can happen if:

  • The product was deleted, archived, or unpublished in Shopify

  • A size, color, or other variant was removed

  • The product or variant was recreated or reimported

  • The product URL, handle, or publishing settings changed

  • Your Shopify integration was recently reconnected

  • Your store or domain setup changed

How do I fix it?

Start by checking the product in Shopify:

  • Confirm the product is active

  • Confirm the affected variant still exists

  • Confirm the product is published to the correct sales channel

  • Confirm your ShopMy integration is connected to the correct Shopify store or domain

Then, try these steps in ShopMy:

  • Re-sync your product catalog.

  • If the product still appears as disconnected, remove it from the Lookbook.

  • Re-add the current version of the product from your synced catalog.

What if it’s still disconnected?

If the product is active in Shopify and still appears disconnected after re-syncing and re-adding it, reach out to your Client Strategy Manager for assistance.
