What is an affiliate network?
An affiliate network is a platform that connects brands (or merchants) with content creators, influencers, or publishers (affiliates) who promote their products or services. The network tracks performance and handles the logistics—like generating trackable links, managing commissions, and processing payments. Affiliate marketing helps brands grow their sales by leveraging creators who earn a commission for driving sales through their affiliate links. It's a scalable way to reward creators for their impact on a brand's growth. ShopMy's Launch Package is a way for brands to partner with our network of creators by directly integrating with ShopMy's affiliate network.
Why should I start on this package?
When we are evaluating new Brand Partnerships, we try to ensure that we are onboarding brands that we are confident can be successful on the platform and see a strong return on their investment. Having strong organic traction is a good indicator of that. Our team evaluates every brand that expresses interest in a partnership with ShopMy, and when we identify a brand that shows potential to be a fit but does not yet have strong organic traction, we recommend starting off as an Affiliate partner before diving into a larger partnership. This will help you ramp up organic traction before diving into a larger partnership, which will best position you for success.
What features do I have access to?
On the Launch Package, you have access to the Talent tab (to issue custom rates and codes), the Order Log to see creator-level insights, and the Invite Talent page to share your custom onboarding link with creators.
We've recently launched two new add-on features available to Launch Package brands that expand what you can do with your existing promoters:
Promoter Gifting — Send product directly to creators who are already promoting your brand through automated Lookbook gifting, with the ability to track acceptance and engagement per send.
Promoter Chat — Message your existing promoters directly through ShopMy to coordinate campaigns, share updates, and build stronger relationships.

What is a promoter? How does a creator become a promoter for my brand?
A promoter is anyone linking to the brand via ShopMy, either to the DTC site or a retailer, if you are sold in any. A creator is considered a promoter when they generate link to the brand via ShopMy.
How can creators link to my brand on ShopMy's Launch Package?
Creators can link to the brand by generating a link via URL, our Snapshop browser extension, or by searching the Catalog for the brand's products. Once a creator generates a link to the brand, they will be come a promoter, and you will be able to issue them a custom rate or code through the Talent tab. For creators who may inquire about how to do this, we recommend sharing this link to to our Creator Guide on how to generate a commissionable link.
When my brand is live on the Launch Package, what does that mean for creators?
Once your brand is live on the Launch Package, creators can generate commissionable links to the brand and earn commission on any sales that they drive. You can track their performance through ShopMy via the Order Log, and issue custom rates or codes through the Talent Tab.
