What do you recommend setting our commission rate to?
We require a 15% commission rate when starting on the Launch Package. However, to be competitive we recommend offering a minimum rate of 15%-20%.
How do I change my commission rate?
To update your default commission rate, go to your Account Settings by clicking the three lines at the top right of the dashboard → Account Settings → then select Account Settings from the left-hand menu. Under this section, you can update your commission rate, which will apply to all creators on ShopMy.
How do I extend a custom commission rate to an individual creator?
To offer a custom commission rate, open the creator's Talent Card, click "Offer Custom Rate," and enter the desired rate. Custom commission rates can only be extended to current promoters on the Affiliate package (if you're on the ShopMy Network). To view eligible creators, head to the "Our Promoters" section within the Talent tab.
How do I extend a custom commissionable discount code to a creator?
To offer a custom commissionable discount code to a creator, open their Talent Card and click "Offer Discount Code." From there, you can enter the code details and customize the offer.
If your ShopMy account is integrated with Shopify the code will automatically be generated and synced in Shopify.
If you're not connected to Shopify, you'll need to manually create the code in your POS system to ensure it's valid at checkout. (Note: This typically doesn't apply to brands starting on the Launch Package.)
Custom discount codes can only be extended to current promoters on the Affiliate package. To view eligible creators, navigate to the "Our Promoters" section in the Talent tab.
To manage existing codes, go to the "Custom Codes" section under the menu (three lines on the top right of your dashboard), where you can view, edit, or delete previously issued codes.
Can I set discount code restrictions in ShopMy?
If your ShopMy Shopify app is connected with code creation enabled, discount codes will be automatically generated in Shopify. However, any specific restrictions—such as expiration dates, product eligibility, or usage limits—must be set manually within your Shopify admin for each individual code.
