ShopMy allows shoppers to search for product recommendations from the world’s top curators and tastemakers. Rich data about each product - like images, price, and availability - come directly from the product pages that creators link. ShopMy utilizes a search crawler to pull the latest data from your product pages. To ensure this data is correctly updated in ShopMy for your site, follow the steps based on your partner status.

For ShopMy Brand Partners & Non-Partners:

1. Allow ShopMy to access your site

Like other search crawlers, ShopMy will periodically access your site to get the latest information for your products. Ensure ShopMy can access your site, using the details below to configure firewalls, rate-limiters, bot protection. and the robots.txt file.

Crawler User-Agent: ShopMyBot/1.0 (like Googlebot/2.1)

Minimum Rate Limit: 1 request/second

2. Include Product structured data in your pages

ShopMy pulls rich data like price and availability from structured data in your product pages. Ensure this information is correctly provided in the initial HTML response for your pages. See Google’s structured data guide for more information.

For ShopMy Partners Only:

Provide your product feed to ShopMy

ShopMy partners can provide product feeds directly to ShopMy, ensuring accurate data that doesn’t rely on crawling your site. For more information on becoming a ShopMy partner, see here.
