If you choose to blacklist a discount code, ShopMy will exclude any orders made with that code from your affiliate invoice, meaning creators will not earn commission on those sales.
Brands typically use this feature in cases such as:
- Avoiding duplicate commission when a code is also tracked through another affiliate network
- Ensuring commission is only paid on codes intended for creators, not general sitewide or influencer-agnostic promotions
To blacklist a discount code, follow these steps:
- Click the three lines in the top-right corner of your dashboard and go to Account Settings
- Scroll down to the Blacklist Discount Codes section
- Click New Blacklisted Code and enter the code you'd like to exclude from commission tracking
