I am seeing a Oauth error message. How do I fix this?
You're so close! It looks like the ShopMy app was created, but you'll need to edit some of the app settings.
Head to your Shopify dev dashboard and click on the "ShopMy Integration".
On the right hand side click "create new version".
Scroll down to the "scopes" section.
In the "scopes" box copy and paste in the following scopes: write_discounts,read_discounts,write_price_rules,read_price_rules,write_orders,read_orders,read_products,read_inventory,read_locations,read_shipping,read_markets
In the "redirect URL" section, copy and paste: https://apiv3.shopmy.us/api/Shopify/oauth/callback
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click release, then click release again
Click "ShopMy Integration" on the top left of your screen (brings you to the home page of your ShopMy integration in Shopify)
Click "install" in the top right
Head back to your ShopMy login and onboarding flow and check your Shopify integration again
I'm using ShopMy via another network (Rakuten, CJ, Impact, Pepperjam, Partnerize, AWIN, or another). What do I need to do to get started?
If you haven't already, extend us a rate of at least 15-20% through your intended network as soon as possible. From there, our Onboarding Team will walk you through the next steps for integrating via a partner network for affiliate tracking.
Can I add Google Tag or pixel tracking alongside the ShopMy script?
Yes. The same click-tracking script provided during onboarding, added with your store's domain, runs independently of a Google Tag or pixel setup. The two won't conflict.
Follow the setup instructions included with your onboarding materials to add it. If you can't find them, your onboarding specialist can resend the exact script for your domain.
I added the tracking script, but my store still shows as "not tracked". What's wrong?
The most common cause is script placement. It needs to sit on its own, outside and below your page's final </script> tag, not nested inside another script block. It's also worth checking that a cookie banner or consent tool on your site isn't blocking it from firing.
Once you've adjusted the placement, test again from your onboarding portal. Still stuck? Send your onboarding specialist a screenshot of where the script sits on the page and we'll take a look.
Do I need to put a credit card on file to start onboarding?
It depends on your payment method. If your contract is set up for ACH, you don't need a card on file. ACH accounts aren't charged to a card, even if a payment goes overdue. If your contract uses credit card billing, you'll add your card during setup.
Not sure which applies to you? Check with your onboarding specialist before you get started.
Why am I seeing an "email already in use" error at signup?
This usually means the email is already tied to an account, often an existing shopper profile. Try going to shopmy.us/logout and logging back in, since you may have already registered.
Still stuck? Your onboarding specialist can check whether the email is tied to another account and help sort it out.
When will my brand be visible to creators on ShopMy?
Your brand becomes visible to creators as soon as you go live, right after onboarding is complete.
Will ShopMy need to place any test orders on my site?
Once you've completed the required integration steps, our Onboarding Team will place one to two test orders (depending on your site setup) to confirm affiliate tracking is working correctly. We'll ask you to cancel the test order once it's confirmed.
