Once your account is set up, you can invite any creator who isn't already on ShopMy to join. Creators who use your link bypass the waitlist and sign up instantly, automatically gaining access to your brand and commission rates.
There are two ways to invite creators: via your custom sign-up page, or via an Off Platform Lookbook.
Inviting creators via sign-up page
Each brand has a custom sign-up page and invitation code. Creators who use your link bypass the waitlist and can sign up immediately.
- Click the menu icon in the top right of your dashboard and select Invite Talent.
- Copy your referral link and share it directly with creators.
How to check if a creator has signed up
When a creator who is new to ShopMy uses your invite link to create their account, they'll appear in your Talent tab under Our Promoters → Onboarded By You. They remain there even after they become active promoters — use this as a running list of creators who joined ShopMy for the first time via your link.
Note: This only captures brand-new sign-ups through your link. A creator who already had a ShopMy account won't appear here even if they used your link — their absence here doesn't mean they haven't joined. To confirm a connection with an existing creator, check whether they appear elsewhere in your Talent roster.
Inviting creators via Off Platform Lookbook
Lookbooks are digital product catalogs that brands curate on ShopMy and send to creators for easy gifting. Lookbooks help streamline and simplify the gifting process.
If you'd like to offer gifting to a creator who isn't on ShopMy yet, you can send them an Off Platform Lookbook link. They'll be prompted to create a ShopMy account before accepting the gifting request.
- Select the Lookbook you'd like to send and click Send Gifting Request.
- Click Generate Invite Link, then click Generate Invite Link again to copy it to your clipboard.
- Send the link to the creator. Once they create an account and accept the request, they'll appear in your Talent tab under Our Promoters → Onboarded By You.
Note: Each Off Platform Lookbook link is unique. If you're sending to multiple creators, generate a separate link for each one.
