Step-by-Step Setup
ShopMy's Setup Wizard makes connecting your Shopify store fast and code-free — no dev team required. During your brand onboarding, you'll reach the Domain Setup step where you'll add your store domain, then select Shopify as your POS system.
Estimated time: ~15 minutes. If any step requires developer access, share this page directly with your tech team.
Step 1: Add your domain
Enter the domain(s) you want to make commissionable for creators (e.g. shopmy.us). Add all relevant domains before continuing — each one goes through tracking setup to ensure creators can earn commission properly.
💡 Not handling the technical setup yourself? Share your onboarding page URL and login credentials with your web or engineering team to complete on your behalf.
Step 2: Select your POS system
Choose Shopify from the dropdown and click Next.
Step 3: Use the Setup Wizard (recommended)
On the Setup Shopify App screen, you'll see a dark card labeled Setup Wizard marked as Recommended. Drag the green ShopMy Setup Guide button to your browser's bookmarks bar.
⚠️ Don't click the button yet — drag it to your bookmarks bar first.
Step 4: Launch the wizard from your bookmarks bar
Once the button is saved, click the ShopMy Setup Guide bookmarklet from your bookmarks bar. ShopMy will automatically:
- Take you to your Shopify Dev Dashboard
- Create your app
- Release the first version
- Retrieve your credentials — no manual steps needed
Step 5: Finish the connection
Once the wizard confirms "You're all set," your credentials are automatically filled in. Click Connect Shopify to link your store.
Step 5: Add your Click Tracking Pixel
Once connected, you'll see a "Successfully connected" banner. This is vital to ensure we can track orders.
- Copy the ShopMy script shown on screen
- Paste it just before the
</body>tag on your site's main template — it needs to be on every page
- Click Go to Test URL → then Check Integration to confirm it's live

Prefer to set up manually?
Expand the "Or set up manually" option on the Setup Shopify App screen and enter your Client ID and Client Secret directly. You can find these in your Shopify Partners dashboard under your app's credentials.
